Sprayed the Bonnet

The bonnet was getting a bit tatty, clear coat long gone so today I sprayed it Matt Black to tart the Jimny up a little. Goes well with the black roof and rear fastback section I reckon.

When mine gets nearer being finished, tin top, it's shiny black but will be covered in a few coats of satin black. To go with the wheels and all the once grey, interior panels.
I like black!
Just need to show the blue owners the error of their ways.

Hope to paint my Jimny "Suzuki Swift Yellow" later on in the year but will retain the black bonnet to cut down on glare.

I own 2 blue ones but iv also owned a green one for 2 week sold it as it was rot and a red soft top that i brought back to life and sold it a year later so am i still classed shifty :laugh:

I,m getting to like that fast back top, who do i contact for price?,or maybe swap my full top? ,

Monsoon do sell them although I went to "All stitched up" in Seaford and had them make mine up on the spot, only took half a day and $500 and away I went. Any competent boat-fitter can make one up for you. I chose to have a sail-runner fitting at the top for quick fitting/removal. It just slides along the runner. The seal is so perfect than even after all these years the roofs still inflate when even low speed fan is turned on.

Here is a short video of me removing and then installing Fastback roof, all in less than 2 minutes...

Silver and black jimny is the best colour combination . Blue jimny owners are just jealous. Haha.
