:) Hi all

Ok this is my standard silver Jimny

it has 205/70/R15's on alloy - can it have 215/75/R15 AT (GG) fitted? without lift?

If I do a 1.5 lift what Tyres would it take then 225's?

If I stay under the 3in lift I wont need to do brake lines? and steering stuff?

I just want to make sure of all the facts before I start

Cheers and many thanks
Chris

Welcome chris

Nice looking jimny... Assume it's the mode exactly the same as mine :)

Depends what you are going to be using her for. If you want to do some fairly serious offloading a small lift and some chunky mud tyres will be the way to go

If its going to be mainly on road with he odd trip across a muddy field a set of 205/75 grabbers will fit without any suspension mods. 215 grabbers might fit... But will be tight

It's a bonnet guard... No longer available in the uk as the supplier refuses to import
I tried to get another one last year

Mine has 205/75/15 general grabbers AT2s before they discontinued the agressive tread and named them the AT

Other than that its just standard

I imported it from Australia

And the grabbers are a good all rounder... But aren't any good if you want to go mud plugging

Hi Chris,
You have the newer style front bumper which apparently doesn't like larger tyres too much (without a lift anyway).
You are more than welcome to come try a one of my 215/75/15s to see if it physically fits. Shouldn't take a minute to wizz one off my car and try it one yours...
