Had a right nightmare whilst fitting me locking hubs, got one side on and found my alloys would not fit over them :( so spent an hour hacking one of my alloys to bits to get them to fit!

Im going to sand them so they look right then have them painted when my other tyres come to get fitted!

I think your alloy's lost a lot of strenght there !
Could be dangerous under extreme torque going on a bumpy steep slope !

I dont think so, it was a thin piece of alloy that capped the centre that the hubs sit in!

Ill get a better pic sometime but the pic makes it look as though ive cut the recess where the wheel nuts sit in when i havent, all ive done is opened up where the centre cap pops in

As you can see, its about 3mm wide and a cm in width, just cosmetic as far as im concered. You can say I told you so if my wheel falls off though lol

I rather wouldn't want to say such things :)
If i were you i should check it up from time to time, looking after tiny hairline cracks.

Ive just put one if my new tyres on my spare so I can trim the arches so they wheels fit straight on with no fuss
