Holmar's Jimny from Iceland was created by HolmarH
Hi my name is Hólmar, from Iceland, and here are few pics of my jimny.
Specs:
6 cm body lift, 4 cm spring lift.
36x14,5 R 15 10'' Gumbo mudder
Fini air compressor
Webasto heater
Side lights
Larger exhaust system
K&N air filter
Two batteries
Homemade snorkel.
Toyota hilux front axle with LSD lock
Toyota Land cruiser 70 rear axle also with LSD lock. Soon to be air lockers in front and rear.
Brakes from a 1995 4runner.
Diff ratios are 4.3 soon to be 5.29
The Rocklobster has been taken out of the jimny because it is way too weak. The original T box is in it now and still works great, on road /off road.
Top speed is about 120 km/h and the fuel economy is about 11 liters per 100 km.
When i got it..
Toy axels and 33x12,5 R15, 10'' wide BF goodrich not big enough for me...
Vitara 36'' Jimny 33'' and the white Jimny 35'' original axles. Works great. No problems.
This is how it looks today. 36x14,5 R 15 10'' wide... I haven't decided what rims I'm going to run, the 10'' works fine.
