Bought this about a month ago to use as a trialler. Its not road legal but doesn't really matter. Its got a 3 inch lift, external cage of course, and I've just fitted a 5:1 Rob Storr transfer box. The Insa Turbo special tracks I already had so now its ready to go and play. First outing on the 25th with a local Land Rover club (am I allowed to mention Land Rover on here!). So be interesting to see how it goes.

This is what it looked like when I bought it

and this what it looks like now.
It had a snorkel, well a piece of rubber hose, running up the side of the windscreen with nothing on the top. After a bit of routing around I found a Durgo valve, or air admittnace valve for a 4inch soil pipe. After a bit of modding and a touch of paint its installed on the Jimny. Does the job and cost me nothing!

Sorry - don't know why the pic didn't insert itself

Go for it. Remember you can do it a bit different compared to an LR..... Narrower.... Always keep out of the ruts...

Good luck

Mark

I was pleased with how it turned out, but it was an awful job getting the stickers off, and particularly the adhesive.

Good to know it'll be remembered when you flush the toilet!
