lol well iv dabled abit in the past for about 17 years lol took a day and ahalf to clean off paint make carbord templates tranfer to metal then bend and weld in paint inside and out and put back together plus weld up both sides where the body mounts are at the rear where the wire comes out for the rear lights

When I did mine I just welded from above then sikaflexed underneath. Cant weld upside down :blush:

Just pm'd bigoffroader about the rocklobster I bought from him. Like I said in my build thread just got the Jimny running the other night, noticed oil on top of my ORA guard - coming from what looks like a core plug, underneath the rear flange is a tiny 10mm upward facing bolt next to this facing the passenger side is the offender.

I'm sure Tony would be able to sort this but he is 100miles away :(

Wondering if it can be welded, is it cast? Can you weld cast? Don't really want to just swap it as I have fitted Xbrake, tapped it for breather and fitted homemade speedo adapter bracket :(
