Ha. At least it's back together now and it looks like it was worth the wait.
I take it you do a bit more than just green lanes judging by the cage and the rock sliders etc? I like the wheels as well

Hi Gary.
If you use the jimny everyday, go for a 2" lift + 205 or 215/75/15 M/Ts or A/Ts will be ok.

Just pay and play days, road legal'ish but not my daily driver. Wheels are from a Daihatsu sportrac.
The problem with having it fitted with a rocklobster and rear diff locker is finding something challenging without being stupid. :silly:

That's a point. I'm going to at least try and be sensible with the modifications but we'll see how that turns out!
I picked my Jimny up on Friday and took it out on Saturday. Nothing special I just filled it up with rubbish and took it to the dump. Then I did a few errands and then a couple of unmade roads around my way. In total I did about 60 miles in it and I'm very impressed with it so far. Unfortunately I didn't take any interesting pictures, but here's a couple from the garage where I bought it.
I think one of the first things I'm going to do is refurbish the wheels and spray them black. Not only do I think this is a nice look but it may also differentiate me from some of the Jimny owners around my way who all seem to be over 70 years old!
