gazert wrote: I have watched this video loads! Great TRUCK!
I seem to think it has detachable springs on G wagon axles!
We should group some pics of normal jimnys running normal accessible mods(springs/body etc)
We could then see who has good-great flex!
The extreme fabrication mods that are still jimnys by virtue of chasis etc.. can have their own lil FLEX OFF!

could someone reput together one pic of each car, with the specs each time, because most od those who have posted don't have their suspension detailed in signature...it could be great to compare and analyseB)

Here is some better flex pics of my setup
Specs on suspension:
-80mm lifted tough dog (king) springs
-tough dog shocks to suit lifted springs
-tough dog adjustable pandhard rods
-poly urethane castor bush;s ( )
-Shock relocation brackets
I'm pretty happy with the setup, but my brake lines are limiting droop on the drivers side rear,
i need to get longer ones and in the the front the same thing is happening, but i i think i may also ne able to put some longer struts in the front, cus there is still a fair bit left in the spring before it becomes lose

A pic of mine, 80mm tough dog coils and shocks, extended brake hoses (not limited now as you Monkey
rear shocks repositioners, castor bushes, no roll bar.
Coils are not used at their max when compressed (a lot of space left between the coils turn) and they can still be extended without leaving when shocks are fully opened... i "only" have about 54cm of flex, so i plan on mods to use it at its max or changing them...

Not sure if i just havent managed to stop in the right position but my Jimny seems to lean over more than flex, is this something to do with the setup of the car? The suspension has alot of give in it, can easily rock the car side to side, etc.

looks like the ground slopes away to the offside front so it will lean that way :side:
just keep trying and you'll find somewhere to show it off to its best
