Awesome pics, keep em coming...

Bet that vehicle (Prado?) with the corvette engine is sponsored by all the local fuel stations!

Well .. I had a bit of a mishap in the one dune.....

but this was the outcome in the end.

^^ new bumper

I also added the wind deflectors for the windows to keep the rain out from above while being able to have the window open a bit.

Later I decided I need spotlights, drilled some holes and fitted them after adding some rustproof coating where the wholes were drilled.

Random pic....
Saw this on another Jimny

The missus was having some moments of "no no dont go over the edge.....Oh Shi***t!" when doing some obstacles....
So I added an "Oh Sh*t Bar" ;)

We then found it's actually a good place for our medical kit.

I had some rubbing on full compression in the dunes, so instead of moving the radius arms I decided to swop out the 32mm spacers and get offset rims instead. These are 7J vs the 5.5j and it kicks out the wheels nicely.

If I'm correct it brings the total width in from 64mm with spacers to 54mm without. This clears the fender bit where it was rubbing on full compression.

Then this happened.

So...as one does ....

A few design discussions later...

:cheer:

Panhard relocation bracket.

Extended brake lines (Front and back)

I installed one of these jobbies for the radio.

I can now play MP3's from USB and SD card as well as my phone. It went through the back into the glovebox with Velcro at the top.
Added 4 Sony Xplod speakers.....

as well as one of these under the seat.

Hi Jimny...welcome to this century! Nothing over the top but sounds great! :)

Ready for another outing. ;)

Still on the list.... (Is it ever done? :dry: )

* Snorkel / K&N filter

* Proper diff breathers. I seem to be doing a lot of water crossings etc.

* Catback / straight through... maybe branches and a chip with Dyno tune <-- haven't quite figured this one out yet. Need a bit more performance... not much... just a bit.
Maybe I should just do different ratios but i have the VVT manual with the push button selector.
What is my options here?

* Packing system rear. Think I want to take the back seats out completely and rig that. Also want to make it so one can actually sleep inside the Jimny in a pinch. I've got the idea to maybe make it so the front seats fold down completely and one can slide another piece over them to the front...still got to figure it out.

* Difflock..... ARB with ARB pump for tyres...but seriously expensive.... the R/$ aint helping either. This would be first prize though.
Anything else other than ARB that can engage and disengage with a button? Detroit lockers available for a Jimny?

* I got roof bars but maybe a roof basket for camping.

* I also need a 10-15mm leveling spacer for the front.

* Quick disconnect for swaybar maybe :)

* Dual battery system.

* VHF radio installation.

* Beadlockers?
