This is my Jimny sitting on 1.5" spring spacers. Wheel spacers 30mm and bumpers cut down. Just thought I would put these up so people who were thinking about doing one of these mods could have a look first!!

Looking good in red with the black bits!

How have you attached the rear recovery point?

Is that the Kap backbox or full system? Does it sound any better than the original exhaust?

Thanks Mumbo Jimbo, The shackle is attached to the original recovery point. Its a big shackle!!
The exhaust is just a Kap back box. I was shocked by the sound it makes, not that Im a boy racer or anything but it is pretty deep and monster sounding, better than the original. I guess it sounds more rally like than boy racery if that makes sense!!

Thanks I was looking at the Kap backbox as a replacement for my rapidly crumbling one, but don't want anything too noisy, "deep and monster sounding" sounds good to me though.

Dont get me wrong, its not really noisy just alot deeper sounding. Whats the K&N filter like?
Dose that make louder? does it effect anything like cound mornings or damp ones? I was thinking I may get one!

Cool, maybe Santa will bring me a Kap back box!

The K&N Filter panel is inside the original airbox so doesn't really sound any different, but it's pretty cheap and easy to clean when servicing. Car starts and drives the same in all weather so is not affected by damp or cold mornings.

Does it make any difference between an LHD or RHD with the Kap backbox? my stock backbox is also from left to right and is it bolt on?

Dutchjimny the kap back box will fit on your jimny, as the exhaust is on the same side on the LHD and RHD jimnys.
