New Jimny(at least new to me) was created by gazert
Just got an 05 plate Jimny in Black.
I have had her through the snow mmmmm fun.
I have put a CB radio in and a 2" spring lift.
Tyres are the next thing on the menu i am thinking Kumho KL71s. my mate has insa special tracks on his jimnoid. then i am fitting a concealed whinch behind the bumper.
I will post pics of the instalation as i do it.
i have been around jimnys since they were launched in the UK as i worked for a Suzuki dealership in Stoke on Trent.
the launch was in Carden park golf resort near Chester.
There were 60 brand new Jimnys there and we all went off for a 100 mile loop including a stint in the slate quarry at the top of the horse shoe pass near Llangollen.
what a launch.

I worked there from 1997-2000. i still have contacts there and mates.
It was the MD that got me and my wife together! (i sold her mum and dad a 5dr 2.0 tdi 1997 R plate Vitara.)
Now that's sad!!

Its just that i bought a new jimny from there 54 plate, it went in for some warranty work when it was 3 months old on the soft top, and it was a little modified by then, with a 2" lift, ARB winch bumper, 9500lb winch, 7x15 modular wheels, 215/15 tyres, wheelarches trimmed out, and i was saving for a rocklobster, which was finally fitted before it went back 6 months late just before it had yet another soft top under warranty lol. lads in the workshop used to take the pee out of it a bit. I work at Keele just up the road from there.

Back box now removed and a small powerflow stainless back box on! Sounds nice now, it has a nice burble! So good condition standard rear box for sale if anyone needs one.

Now fitted kumoh kl71's 195 80 15s. They seem great off road and their manners are superb on road.
I did manage to get all crossed up at one point and had my nearside rear wheel 18" off the ground!
Good fun!
