Hi there!
I thougt id register so there's no anonymus guest peepin around this great forum..

So my name is Stefan and im 23 years old and i live across the canal ;-) for a living im a spraybooth mechanical

I bought a stock jimny from 4-2000 with only 69xxx kilometres (42874M) on the clock and still 11 months guarantee from the dealer!

First some pics!

Its a stock jimny ( i guess ;-) ) and it runs on General grabber HP's

The mods i did sofar:
Fitted the Cobra front bullbar
Fitted the Cobra sidebars (bought them from a guy with an amazing looking jimny)
Ordered a wheelcover
Ordered 2 Hella jumbo 320FF LED beams (dont know if they fit my bullbar but i make it fit)
Made an appointment to tint my backwindows

Unfortunately there are almost no shops for bits overhere :-(

So more pics soon..

If there are any questions let me know

Hi there!...I'm new to the forum too...i had to tint one of the back windows in my jimny as when i bought it there had been a massive hole scratched in it and it looked awful!...so thought id give it a go myself..its really not that bad to do.... if you make a mix of meths and water in a spray bottle.... say cap full of meths to a half bottle of cold water. Clean the window with a clean dry cloth and neat meths. Make a template using newspaper and place over the tint.... cut the shape of the window out in the tint, Then spray the window so its totally wet through. Peel a large corner off tint backing...lay your peeled corner of tint over window and pull remaining backing away laying tint on as you go (keep window wet at all times) with a small squeegy rub outwards from the centre. Then using a hair dryer on warm lightly doing the same thing centre outwards with squeegy warm it over to make it dry. Mines fine and doesnt look bad at all. Saved a fortune. :0) mind you i did stick stickers on cars for a job for a while so that might have helped me too lol.

Guys guys guys i need youre help..

My beams arrived today and i love them already but i have to adjust my bullbar a bit forward for the lights to fit in line with my bullbar,i can weld the brackets longer thats no problem. Does anyone know if there are rules for sticking out in front of the car?

Pics say more than 1000words

this should be solved when moving the bullbar a little forward and the light brackets al bit backwards

and an overal view

let me know!

I wouldn't have thought so, remember the old Ford Escorts etc with the 2 up 2 down spotlights hanging off the front?

I used to have one

More than likely the same as here, anything sharp or 'edged' that could cause damage to pedestrians etc, would be a no no.

K :)

I'd mount them higher to stop blocking the main air intake through the radiator/condensor and to keep them further away from stones.

can you still look out your front window? lol

I decided to send the lights back and change them for more gentle lights who fit better
