My bog standared 2001 Jimny JLX.
I'm new to the Jimny Sean so apart from some better tyres (Grabber AT2s) what mods should I be considering first, bearing in mind its my daily driver and don't plan to do any serious off-roading just light off roading to some remote wild camp sites.

Stock standard the Jimny is a very capable vehicle.

Given yours is a 10 year old vehicle, the shocks would most likely already be gone so this would be the first thing to look at. I'd stick with a 2" lift as a 3" requires additional mods such as brake lines and castor bushes. Shocks will increase your offroad ability, on/off road comfort, handling etc etc. Get the shock relocation brackets while your at it.

You shouldn't need anything else (as your already getting tyres). Once you take it offroad you'll find out what else is required to suit your needs.
