My '98 Jimny from New Caledonia was created by dadam
Hi everybody,
i'm Damien from New Caledonia, i bought a little more than 1 year ago now a little Jimny to begin in 4x4 and green laning as we have beautiful landscapes here.
I also wanted to follow two of my friends who were already involved in 4x4 with quite good mods on there cars (Defender 90 TD5 and Jeep TJ)
So i bought it completely stock but with a nudge bar and a +2" ironman/tjm kit not mounted.
It had the air con but no power steering, some 16" alloy wheels with road Tyres.
So exit the wheels and tyres as soon as paid (exchange with a neighbour who had a Jimny :P ), sent the nudge bar and putted on the +2" kit.
It was pretty stiffed, and i was not really satisfied, so i order a +8cm Tough Dog Kit (i saw a few guys from aussie who had it on the site) without the panhards (not good for LHD told me the sellor) extended brake hoses, found a power steering, mounted a 5.1 reducted T-Case from Zanfi, some 235/75/15 BFG Mud KM2, and now i'm beginning to play with it.
Looking for some extra flex on the car, i decided to have a look on what i could to on several sites to take some advices!
A pic of the car (testing the flex)

effectivement, ce forum a l'avantage d'être très vivant, tous les jours il y a de nouveaux sujets, la seule difficulté est la langue
