At first I had my doubts. This was the first proper offroading I'd done. Dirt roads are nothing now.

Yesterday, the quote of the day was ''c'mon Jimny!'' as I ambled behind a well modified Landrover 90 and a hefty looking Hilux. I was on road tyres and the terrain was mud and vegitation.

Eyes widened and jaws hit the dashboard as I shadowed the noisey diesel monsters. On more than one occasion, it was said that I was doing better than the Landy, much to my friends embarressment.

Before long, rooflights beamed through the forestry and we called it day.
