no distortion like the blinds used to give (going to drive everywhere backwards now)
you do actually think that they're limo-tinted film windows and not clip-in plastic

excellent, can see out clearly, just like looking through dark sunglasses.Tadpole wrote: I have to say they do look the business, what's it like looking out from inside ie driving ......

Wow they look really good. And it must be cheaper than getting the windows tinted professionally.

They look really good. Another advantage is that they protect the rear screen heater wires which can get easily damaged when carrying stuff in the boot.

thanks guys,
I think the price is about the same as a typical tinting company (some cheaper some more expensive),
but it's more convenient to fit these and you've got the resale/reuse option for a future date

reversing lights
after fitting my clip-in window tints, it was tricky reversing at night as the standard reversing lights didn't give sufficient light - was basically reversing not being able to see properly
so rather fit new dedicated lamps, took a gamble and replaced the Standard Clear Glass 21W W21W7440 Incandescent Bulb with some 92 LED 7440/582 White lamps
they're damn expensive at £29.99 a pair from autobulbs
bit of a problem though as they wouldn't fit through the holes would they :S
so after a bit of modification - trying sideways entry :pinch:
they went in, but almost touch the lens
but well worth the hassle
LED on the left, normal on the right
and in the two new LEDs in the the dark
well pleased
if anyone wants anything from autobulbs , use the code THK500 and until 31/01/15 you'll get 10% off
