Rear diff lock and rock lobster will make the jimny unstopable in the sticky stuff and the diff lock will help you from becoming cross axled. Its a shame Lancashire has little to offer in the way of green lanes, we have snake rake and Georges lane, but they are little more than 100yrds each and don't have much to offer. You will find a few excellent suppiers of parts from Bigjimny, Jimnybits, Bits4Vits, ORA, Rhino Rays and KAP, there are others than i've not thought of. There will be many things which you will want to add to your shopping list. I have the same problem with gravel on my front garden as this has become a parking place, my Special tracs just want to throw it all down the street. JIMNY = EMPTY WALLET. but BIG :-)

Welcome! Lovely looking truck, physically they're small but i find them a more comfortable place to be than in a 90, you don't knock your arm so much.

You have prompted me to make my first post....
So erm, Hi.
I am from Blackpool and work in Warton, and drive through St. Annes every day.
I bought my Jimny a month ago. I also have a Vitara Commercial 1.9 TD. With ARB lockers front and rear, crawler gears, and 33" tyres. Winch, snorkel, roof basket, body lift etc... I have had a couple of other Vitaras before this one.
My Jimny is on 215/75/15 BF Goodrich MTs has an ARB front bumper, with a Warn winch, ARB lockers front and rear. I fitted an ORA rear bumper at the weekend, and have a Rocklobster transfer box on order from Rockwatt.

Other than Snape Rake and Forge/Wyre lane I have not really explored its capability properly. yet....
I am going to Briercliffe Pay and Play this Sunday in the Jimny, with a mate in his Vitara if either of you two fancy a road trip?
