Fitted the lift kit and the radius arms to the Jimny last weekend but didnt get round to taking any photo's till today!:)

It looks a bit funny as it is still on its standard road wheels and tyres. But I thought I'd keep you all up to date on how its going.

Still not had chance to drive it yet tho! Hopefully getting the disco up for sale this week so depending on how long it takes to sell I might even make it to Tong in feb! Fingers crossed:)

Nah it's just a 3" lift and I've fit front ORA radius arms. I'm fitting castor corrected bushes to the rear arms hopefully next week but trying to sell the disco takes priority!

The white 90 is my dads and the red Discovery 2 is mine. I hope it sells quickly as I want to go for a play at Tong! The only reason I havent put it up for sale yet is because its got an ABS fault which I cant seem to cure!

lmao, I wrote 90 and edited to 110 because I thought i waas wrong......
Hope you get rid soon, I was in a disco offroad today - only real mod was a 2" lift and it handled itself quite well :)
Do you prefer the jimny or is it for fuel reasons etc ?

I love both trucks in their own ways. The reason I bought the Jimny is because I had wanted one for a while and we got one traded in at work. I enquired about it and they came back to me with a good price so I bought it!

If I had not bought the Jimny I would be more than happy to keep the Disco for off roading. My local pay and play site is tong which has 3 coloured routes Blue (easy), Red (medium) and Black (hard). The problem with the Disco is that it will easily do the red routes but then I decide to follow my mates down the black routes! I can do some of the black routes but really it is too big for many of them and I like my bodywork!

The Disco is also still worth a bit of money so I would rather sell it and use the Jimny for doing silly things off road!:)

Hopefully I will be getting new wheels and tyres as soon as the other truck has gone! I'm going to go for 235/75 R15's I think. Did you have to cut the arches with the 215/75 R15's?

Cheers

Chris

No mate, no cutting...reckon 235's will need it somewhere though.

Id have gone for them if it wasnt a daily driver or if i could afford a new transfer box :-)
