Any good biggaz? you fitted it, would it make a difference if I bought one and fitted it.....then later raised my jimny or is it located somewhere that wont be effected by a lift ?

Im fussy with my cars, if the steering wheel is'nt straight i'll get the 4 wheel tracking done, if a wheel shakes i get it balanced, working in the garage equipment game i know which garages have the best kit. When watching mechanics doing tracking on a FLAT CALIBRATED WITHIN +/- 2mm surface i always ensure they have the ramp located within its locks (they don't do this!) as the ramp is only calibrated level at this point, i see so many mechanics doing bad things, i think to myself no way would he treat my car like that! This is mainly dealerships and Fast fit centers.

Gary Whenmouth wrote: Let me know how the steering damper goes once you fit it, im going to pop into KAP as i pass there often, probs book in my jimny for a makeover! i could easily spend to much as i want the wide arch kit and a full external cage.

Update on the steering damper - Excellent B)! The steering feels much better and isn't affected by side winds blowing it all over the place like it did before. Wheel wobble has not gone completely however it has reduced to a point where it is hardly noticeable. The car now handles better than my mothers standard 2005 Jimny. I would definitely recommend one.

Ive got to save up before i get mine, i fancy new lift springs (the old ones have seen better days!), radius arms front and rear, and everything else!. The kit from rhino rays would be nice.

My rear +3 springs look odd 1 has 2 more coils but feel even and car sits level, my front springs +3 have had smaller diameter springs inside which may have binded, however they look ok, i want to replace these as i have a heavy winch and front bumper and massive insa turbo specials 235/75/15, i also plan on a full external roll cage so i want heavy duty +4.5' springs, i also want to fit front and rear kap/ORA trailing arms so my castor correction bushes will be up for grabs.

Bertbuckie
may be up for a deal on +3 springs and poly castor correction bushes! My other is keeping her eye on me making sure im not spending!
