How to remove back seat of my 2006 Jimny was created by meulenbeek
I want to remove the back seat completely, but I cannot release the (how to say uit in english?) horizontal part (not the back, but the seat). I notice 2 steel parts at the front/sides wit what seems to be a plastic pin in it. This however seems stuck. I cannot pull or turn it. Anyone have a hint?

If I understand your question correctly you want to remove the the bottom part of the seat (not a pun the only way I can think of describing it ) If you grab hold of the corner of the seat by the front near the plastic pin and give a strong sharp pull up wards it should pop out when the base of the seat is removed the seat backs will fold down flat and not stick up as they do when just tipped foreword I have also fitted the Suzuki full load liner which protects the interior. there seems to be no mention of this in the handbook it took me hour's of trawling through the Internet to find out how to do it
