disconnecting vacuum cystem was created by dc5
I bought an E10 torx socket and I`m going to set my jimny hubs on permanent lock;)
How would I go about disconnecting the vacuum system and Is there anything I should do when I have the hubs off:unsure:
Are there any little clips or springs that could pop out If I`m not careful:whistle:
jase.

just lock the hubs.#
You can disable the vac system by simply pulling off the single pipe that connects the inlet manifold to the vacuum actuators (below the battery).
The 4x4 light on the dash will flash though as it will think there is an error.
However, if your front hubs are locked, and you select 4WD via the TX lever, you can be assured the vehicle is in 4x4

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

You can probably do something with the vacuum switch, but easiest would be to block the two pipes that would have gone to the axle, and leave everything else connected.
The flashing light means the vacuum switch doesn't detect a vacuum in the pipes.
