MPG, for the doubters...

I also work, per £10 or £20 whatever...

I get 50 miles to £10, so 200 to £40... think thats just under a full tank?

Reckon thats about 25 mpg?

my last car was a jetta sport 2.0 tdi, i got 95 miles to a tenner so its a bit of a shock for me!!

Bout the same as me in 4x4 :)
I had a jetta sport diesel as well...got 65mpg lol
its not the type of vehicle for mpg tho, just be glad its not a range rooney or something ;)
Even my series 2 landy only gets about 15mpg lol
I must clean out my TB and intake manifold etc.... made a difference on my signum :)

It was a big shock to me, my 200TDi landrover 110 did low 30s to the gallon, was twice the size, and probably more than twice the weight, and permanent 4wd to boot.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

yeh the mpg certainly doesnt "work out" when you look at the facts does it!

Auto Express quote Urban (mpg) 31, Extra Urban, 46.3 Combined 39.2, the last one's the same as Used Car Expert for a 2006 on JLX. Rolling road maybe..?

Anyway, the fuel pump was whining like hell at those miles so it must of been near enough dry and like I said, it was full to the top of neck before; I wouldn't be doing that regularly but at least I know what it'll do if it has to. If it keeps it up, fine but as long as it does more than the 18 to the gallon the Shogun did I couldn't really give a toss.

And it must have "worked out"; expenses got paid ;) Come to think of it, could of got a few extra quid if used lower mpg :huh:
