Diff fill and drain plugs was created by Bigchridy
I'm after some new fill and drain plugs for the diffs on my Jimny. I need to change the diff oils but the fill plugs look knackered! I will probably have to use a chisel to remove them! I've done a quick search on the internet but I cant seem to find any! There isnt a Suzuki dealer near to me so I havent yet had chance to go and price genuine ones up.:(

Does anyone have any part numbers for these or no of a good place I can by them from (preferably online)?

Can't help with the numbers, but I and a couple of others, simply welded a piece of hexagon/cut down bolt onto the end of the plug.

This facilitated removal, and is so good I never replaced it.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Thanks mate. Never thought of doing that!:cheer: Once I can get the Jimny back up to work I'll give it a go!

I bought a new rear diff filler plug a while ago due to the same problem you have and will sift through my receipts for a part number when I get chance if you want.

I think it was about a tenner as only Suzuki can charge prices like that but your dealer will know the part number just from the registration number and you'll not get one from elsewhere I doubt.

If you get chance a part number would be great but dont go out of your way!

If I get chance I'll call Suzuki in Leeds but I'll make sure I sit down 1st!!

I might just weld a nut on them if their going to be stupid money!
