Is it a serious problem? I mean will it do any damage if its not sorted? Is it an easy job that I could do myself?
Thanks chris

if you are 100% certain you have oil and pressure under normal circumstances, I wouldnt worry too much about it ..,. probably a sensor faulty.
Ive not had to change one of these yet, so cannot comment on the complexity of it, however I wouldnt panic (Personally)

I think it's probably the oil pressure switch playing up and that you have good pressure but could be the oil pump not working well enough - perhaps replace the switch and see if it fixes it - they can't be that expensive but I've not looked to see where it is to know how hard they are to change - used to be on the side of the block on my old SJ and just screwed in.
