Another gormless tyre question!!! was created by gazert
Forgive my ignorance of tyre sizes!
Can I fit 31 10.5x15 to my standard jimny alloys?
I have a 2" lift and have trimmed some of the arches but don't mind cutting more away!

probably would "go on" but the width is abit much for the alloys in theory, better off on some modulars with the extra width they have.

you might struggle with the tyres hitting the wheel arches
we've a 5" lift and can still hear the rear tyres cluncking on the rear arches - just before they come loose and its out with the cable ties again!

If you want to fit 31s with a two inch lift i would suggest replacing the arches with landrover / terrafirma type flexi arches and then cut away nearly all the inner arches at the back

be careful with special tracks as the will measure bigger than 31 when new (32 ish!) and you will prbably end up with loads of weights on your wheels to balnce them !!

you may be ok with your alloys - it depends on how wide they are.
