Morning both my swivel hubs were leaking oil so I got a repair kit from Jimnybits, a mixture of Suzuki and aftermarket bits. My mechanic replaced both sides but when I drove the car home the steering was awful, the wheel itself is slightly off centre and when your going in a straight line you have to keep correcting the wheel….
Anyone got any ideas what the issue is?
Thanks David

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

The wheel alignment wants setting with the steering wheel centralised (assuming it was right before) Probably it was done before with the worn out bearings.
Having to keep correcting it could just be too much toe-out at the moment or the king pins could be shimmed too tight.
Get the wheel alignment done first.

Agreed. A long time ago when I was still new to jimny i had the tracking done without knowing about the state of the kingpins and when I then changed those like you it drove horribly. 6 jimny almost 20 years later I have learnt that particular lesson.
