Hey everyone, I’m new here and happy to join the community!
I have a 2024 Jimny with the original halogen headlights.
I’d really like to retrofit the original LED headlights. Do you have any information on whether and how that could work?
I’d really appreciate any advice or tips.

Sending best wishes from Germany

I have had it working on the bench but not installed it in the car.

The switching logic is different as the halogen bulbs have twin filaments whilst LEDs have a single "filament"and a moving shutter.

Therefore you either have to completely cut up the existing wiring or you have to create an add on relay logic changer that plugs into the existing wiring. I chose the latter and I wired up a relay logic adapter

I would describe it as a bespoke unit that accepts a regular H4 bulb.

If it helps any, I'm running Osram's H4 "Nightbreaker LED" in my three door. It is "street legal" in several countries in Europe, has a sharp well defined cut off in a RHD vehicle, and is plug & play. I also have Osram LEDs in the front side lights.

My five door has the OE LED lamps and I feel the Osrams have a better defined beam. In all other respects they are pretty much similar.

I can't see myself spending the money to purchase the OE LED lamps and or faffing around with the wiring.
