Hello everyone
After a visit at a mechanic shop for adjustments to my lpg system ai found out that ny mechanic removed a tube from a kind of valve and plug it with a bolt. I have some photos of that part. There are 2 rubber tubes. One comes from the engine near the throttle body and goes to that valve and the other tube goes to some kind of tank. This valve ( or sensor) has 2 cables too. Can anyone explain me what is that?

The fuel vapors were probably mucking up the LPG system, its surprising how much effect it can have. You can run an engine on just fuel vapor, though very weakly.

LPG on a Jimny is a new one to me!!   never heard of it before on a Jimny.

Where is the LPG tank fitted?

Lpg on Jimnys and other Suzuki cars is very common here in Greece. There r many lpg systems that r used for. The most common position for the tank is behind the back seats. I need to get my dogs with me so I have removed the back seats and there is plenty of room for the tank and the dogs. The tank is about 40liters so I have lpg for about 370 km.

Still economical to use LPG? Here the LPG prices are so high now after Putin so i think most LPG stations have been closed and ships have been rebuilt for diesel.

I had a 1992 Samurai parts car from Holland once wich had a strange button on the dash and holes in the rear floor and tubes and wires.
Found out it had been LPG earlier.
