Jimny JB74 (2019+) – Torque Pro PID for TPMS (tire pressure monitoring)

Hi everyone,I’m trying to read the original TPMS sensor data on my Suzuki Jimny JB74 (2019, EU model) via OBD2 using Torque Pro.With the SZ Viewer app I can already see the raw CAN frames, and I’ve identified some CAN IDs that seem to match the TPMS sensors:
- 6E664797
- 6E6647AF
- 6E6647B7
- 6E6639D1
- A/2
- ((A*256)+
/50
- A/100
- The correct Mode/PID or CAN ID
- Which byte(s) (A, B, C, …) correspond to tire pressure
- The working formula (Equation) in Torque Pro
- Any notes about units (bar or psi)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I'm afraid I can't help except to suggest that the tyre sensor may well be reading absolute pressure, so it's output will be +1 bar if that helps with the calculations.

I am doing the same but I can't find how to get szviewer to show me raw frames? How can this be done

Oh and if I was able to read the frame I would then deflate the tyre and reflate it and watch how the bytes change. Some bits/bytes would not change as they are the battery state and angular velocity etc. so those that do change would be tyre pressure

Is this any help? There is mention of J1939 standard, which is for heavy vehicles, but it shouldn't be a million miles away
The second byte x 4 is the pressure in kPa (100kPa = 1 bar)

Hi, OP, sorry I wasn't much help on Reddit. Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know on the TPMS spoof.
Kindest regards, Filipe
