Does the transfer lever spring fit on the gear shifter for the 06< Jimny?
I've got a loose knob...on my Jimny. Mine is an 06 with the gear lever with the two fore and aft bolts and a large spring to hold tension on the bushing, The spring on mine has snapped causing tension to be lost and the lever to be wobbly.
Suzuki don't list parts for this gear lever assembly however it looks remarkably similar to the spring listed for the Transfer case lever on earlier cars (Part no, 29996-80050).
Has anyone tried one of these springs on the main shifter or found another suitable spring? I'm loathed to buy a whole new gear shift lever for what is probably a £2 part.
