Hey all, couldn't find anything specific to my problem on here. Tried to engage 4x4 on my GF's 2015 manual Jimny a couple of weeks ago and the green 4x4 light and the orange 4L light are flashing and 4wd is not engaging. I've done the vacuum bypass (free wheeling manual locking hubs and bridge the vacuum sensor connector underneath the vacuum solenoids in the engine bay and I've also disconnected the vacuum source from the solenoids (blocked the intake manifold port) but the problem persists. Once the car is started the green 4wd light is solid and the orange 4L light is flashing with a synchronised audible beep, this persists for a few seconds before the audible alarm stops and both the green 4wd light and the Orange 4L light both begin flashing. Pressing the buttons on the dash doesn't do anything and disconnecting the battery doesn't change anything. Also the traction control light is on indicating that traction control is disabled. Hopefully somebody on here might be able to shed some light on the situation. See attached video for reference, thanks guys

You are fully pressing the clutch and or in neutral if it's an automatic?

It was a manual, but sometimes needed there too.

I too would check the wires to the switches on the transfer case. and/or wires for the actuator. corrotion or grime in the plugs underneath on the transfer case.

The ligts on the dash, do they blink fast or slow?

Hopefully you didn't fit those manual hubs in an effort to fix this specific problem as it is clearly a transfer case issue, not a vacuum hub one.

I'd start by taking actuator off the transfer case and making sure all is clean and moving freely.
