Water Infiltration driver side

My neverending journey of fixing this car reaches another hurdle, and this time it's the driver side floorpan and floor mat being covered in water every time it rains, I only noticed it yesterday but it might have been happening for a long time.
I tried cleaning the wiper drain holes and they're good.
The windshield was replaced 1.5 years ago due to a large bird wanting to crash test it, and the guys that did the job left me with a cracked wiper cowl, only on the sides though, and it being bent in the middle, however when I poured water on the windshield and cowl, I found it to pour out of the underside of the fenders, as it should, I think.
I also noticed a small crack in the plastic behind the clutch pedal (it might be hitting there), could that be the culprit?

I checked today and having covered the front left of the cabin for the night I discovered a small amount of water on the floor mat, and the left side of the driver footwell and plastics wet.
Looking into the circular vent to the left of the clutch pedal I can see some wet cables, so I'm guessing the water is coming from either the left side of the glass or somewhere under the left A pillar.
If anybody has had any experience with this problem I'd appreciate a little info

If who ever changed the windsheild did a botch job there might be some spots around the edges where the glue is missing or not totally bonded.
used to be more common before when winsdsheilds was in a profile gasket or before garages learned how to glue in the glass.
Also there is a drain from the air intake for the heater that if clogged up with leaves might lead the water into the cabin.
finding where it leaks can be a real pain so if you can see water up under the dash you should try to follow the Nile up thru the jungle to find its source.
That can be a real adventure..

What I'm thinking is they didn't glue it well in a spot, I can see a little bit of glue, like a string poking out into the cabin, and it's in line with where the trace of water comes from, I'll try to follow it up into the dash and see.
