Issue idling under load

Hi again all,
Its a new day with a new issue. The short version is my JA22w stalls while idling in drive when the air conditioner or the headlights are on. Basically the load of the compressor or the alternator are enough to snuff my idle. It always starts right back up after as long as the headlights and AC are turned off.
I just got it back from the shop where they did a head gasket replacement as well as swapped in a fresh turbo. I'm hoping to find a vacuum leak from hoses being disconnected and reconnected, but if not where do I even start with diagnostics? I would vastly prefer to not throw new parts at it until the problem goes away.
I know theres an "idle up valve" on the AC harness, and it definitely runs better with this connected (as opposed to unplugged) but can I test with multimeter?

I would agree it's likely something has not been connected properly after the head was off. Good luck finding it.

carb or fuel injection?

Not so many wires to/from the carb, but if it is FI then there are many and the ECU takes care of things. Does the tach show rpm all the time?
Check all ground wires from the engine to the chassi and battery, those are most easy to find and can present many strange errors when bad. Also check if your battery is good and the charging voltage.

To find vacuum leaks you can carefully spray starter fluid around the intake and listen for a rpm increase.

Also try to unhook the belt to rotate the AC and alternator to see if they spin easy.

Fuel injection. Yes the tach shows rpm all the time. I ruled out vacuum leak today. I cleaned the pcv valve and sprayed the throttle body too. It made a small improvement. I plan on checking the grounds as well as alternator, ac compressor, and battery tomorrow. I noticed having the headlights on also affects my idle speed enough to cause a stall while in gear.
