My jimny steering box is worn and has too much play to tighten without it getting too tight in the ends. Still works fine but will some day need a change and the next one is on my shelf, but was intended to go in the sammy.

Now there is a kit with worm gear for the samurai. Does anyone know if the worm gear is the same?

Roumor has it the internals of the Sidekick/Vitara steering box is the same as the Jimny.
But cannot find a rebuild kit with worm gear for that. Yet.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
