I've had the engine light on for the water temperature sensor, which I've replaced, but it hasn't solved the issue.
Has anyone else had similar issues on the m13a, or know what else could be causing the problem?
Apart from the light, it's running really well, and temp gauge shows it sitting at about half way. Could low coolant levels cause this?

A check engine code for a coolant temperature sensor doesn't mean the sensor is defective, it can also be a wiring issue - in fact the code description (assuming it was a P0115 code) says "ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ECT) CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.
