Ok. I have the other side striped down. The cv is a bit still but the main thing that has caught my eye is when i look through the hole the drive shaft goes in. There is a cog that is moveing all over the place when i turn the prop by hand. That isnt right is it. It almost lifts up to a point then just drops back to the bottom of diff as im turning prop.diff fkd?

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Doesn't sound right.
Pull the other driveshaft, remove the front prop and the bolts around the diff, and it will come out.
If you are lucky the pin through the planet gears has dropped out, and it will go back together.
Surprised if the front diff has broken, they don't get much use.

Try ringing round the breakers Cam Suzuki for example.
I should think they have loads of front diffs, unless they sell the front axles complete.
I would expect a rear diff will fit, and they are stronger, 4 planet gears not 2.
