Front springs with winch bumper and G16 was created by Merton Belringer
Can anybody offer advice on the best spring choice for a 2" lift front spring, if carring the extra weight of a G16 motor and a front winch.
Thanks in advance

I can't answer your question informatively enough I'm afraid but I am also in a similar situation albeit with 3" springs and a bit of a freestyle set up..
The general consensus seems to be a heavier duty similar length spring, or alternatively in your case a 3" spring possibly.
Ultimately it will depend upon what the truck has on now spring and damper wise and what your intentions are. I don't think anyone actually does a mathematical sum, though that would be great and theoretically definitely possible if we had all the data....

I believe that old man emu do s selection of constant load springs to suit Jimny with bumpers and winches etc. Wouldn't know what part numbers though.

The G16 would not add much weight if. The block itself is just a few cm taller but other than that the rest is the same. 2cm more aluminium and 2cm longer piston rods can't add much.

Thanks for your input guys. I've now discovered that XShockDakar offer plus 2" uprated front springs for increased weights of 50gks and 100kgs. Could be the answer.
