need some advice was created by FIRSTJIMNY
I have a 2001 Jimny. The only modifications are Dobinson's shocks and springs for a 2 inch lift, ARB winch bumper w/T-Max 9500 lb. winch and LightForce Lance 140 lights.
with only a certain amount of money to spend what would get the best results:
front and rear ARB air lockers with stock gearing or swap to a Samurai t-case with 4:16 gears?
Need some advice from someone more experience in 4x4 than myself. Thanks.

id go for the gearing mod as you will have so much more control on the rough stuff meaning less clutch slipping needed

I'd go for the transfer box first, then a rear diff lock don't rush into a front one
I have a front Arb but can only use it if the climb etc is straight as if you steer you break a half shaft

What he said. The gearing is too high in low box and becomes an issue.
