Too chicken to ring them but have just sent a message asking what they are actually selling as Jimny's don't have CV boots :-)

This is the reply I got from them

Dear martinlines,

You car will have removable cv joint, take your car to qualified
mechanic any other questions we have helpline number
01217705636 than k you
- j_r2006

....I asked them how this tool can possibly help me on a Jimny where the CV joint is inside the knuckle. I'd better take it to a qualified mechanic.

Maybe the CV joint also fits something else that needs the boot and they just took Jimny off the application list.

I'm impressed that the little end of a boot will stretch enough to go over the big end of the joint, I've always knocked the joint off to fit a boot.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
