Newbie question on fitting lift spacers was created by Lccsw
Hi
quick newbie question, around fitting suspension spacers and shock re-positioning kit. On the front do I need to undo the drop links on a 2000 model, or will the axles drop enough to get the springs out ?
many thanks
Simon

It's significantly easier to unbolt the anti roll bar from the chassis to change your springs but even then they won't quite fall out without additional downward pressure on the axle against the radius arm bushes.

Leave the bumper alone, there's plenty of access from behind looking up at the 4 bolts for the anti roll bar. Also leave the link ball joints alone or you will end up needing a grinder having got them half off and not being able to salvage them.

thanks, all done today. Just had to remove 3 other screws at the bottom of the bumper to get the to anti roll bar bolts.
The front shock bolts were a little bit tough but got there in the end, also fitted the steering damper i had so a good afternoons work.
next up tomorrow is the snorkel
