Certainly within the scope of the Jimny Kingpin assembly then yes "snake oil" as others have said.

Any water that may enter the swivel housing is going to head south to the lower kingpin bearing. Even with that seal water will still go down the centre pin hole and fill the bearing, assuming the kingpin is sealed only at the bottom as per the instructions.

But then it does no harm.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)
