That spare wheel carrier looks like it could be flipped? and then the above spacer could be used on it to move the spare wheel DOWN...

Perhaps ask JimnyBits if they could try it first before you order?

You might want to look into the legalities of number plate reading angles before lowering the spare. I vaguely recall it had to be readable from 45 degrees for those pesky overhead speeding cameras. Not sure if that was just QLD though. Perhaps solved by lowering the number plate and letting air out of the spare. The same applies if you fit a larger tyre.

you can take the bracket off and just have bolts.

Or, I did see a cover like the one you found for the 3G, but i'm sure it was for the new 4G. Possibly just on Instagram, but will try find it.

The guidelines can be switched on or off. While the camera is on, press the settings button, from there you can adjust Contrast, Brightness and Guidelines.
