It's quite simple to remove the alternator belt leaving everything else in place if you use a knife. But it's not possible to replace it without first removing the pas and air con belt. Sorry.

A girl friend used to be able to get her bra off without removing her T shirt. Was hoping for something on that principle! Anyway it went smoother than anticipated. The only issue was 4 seized bolts in captive nuts in a plastic slot in the rad. Of course the nuts just moved but butchery worked and now they are back in with tons of copper grease and the a blob or toffee like waterproof grease on top. If I did it today( after all that) it would take longer to get the tools out I reckon. Ta.
