26spline front arb? was created by orisuli
There is any front locker with 26 spline side gears?

I bought buy mistake and rd208... and find out its the right one for the front.

Is there any option to put it in high pinion third member ?
Or just replace it to rd206 ? And if so whats the part number for 26 spline side gears?

You need to use the rd206. If you are in the UK, Jimnybits sells the 26 spline gears.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

I'm not sure if you are asking about the part number for the gear set. If you are, it is a 6 piece gear set, part number 728JA12. As far as the warranty goes, I'm not sure what effect a change would cause. You would need to read the terms in the warranty that came with the locker.

Trailgear make 22 spline HD shafts, which is what i use with my ARBs (rd 207 and rd 208 i think). Might be an easier and cheaper option than changing the side gears.

Jimnybits do genuine ARB side gears as well as generic ones, so genuine should maintain the warranty (but are pricey)

Can you clarify what is the story with the side gears?
If I want to have front ARB locker (RD206/207) with 26 spline I need to get side gears (728JA12) and fit them into the locker instead the original ones? Is that correct?
When I checked this 728JA12 on website it says that it's for RD208, so will it fit to RD206/207 as well?

The 26 spline side gears are to use with heavy duty shafts
standard shafts have 22 splines
You can use rear diff side gears in the front as these have 26 splines
Hope this helps in some way ;)

Yes, so it's possible to fit rear side gears into front diff and that applies to orginal parts.
The question was about ARB diff locker.
I am aware I can buy HD 22 spline shafts but I would rather prefer 26 ones. Especially with difflock.

I think you guys are misunderstanding eachother a bit.

There is no 26 spline front locker made for the Jimny front axle by ARB. The only way of doing this is by using side gears from ARB rear locker in the front locker as they fit.

This just to clarify how it's done. When it comes to warranty it's up to the retailer. Probably where you got the locker.
