Does anyone no if there is anywhere in the uk that sells a Janspeed manifold for the Jimny?

Attachment Janspeed manifold.jpg not found

DGtuning sell them but not sure how much it would cost to ship it to the uk and I would have to pay 21% vat if I buy it from them!!!

If Janspeed isnt an option does anyone have a 4 branch manifold fitted and where did you get it from?

Cheers

Have you tried asking janspeed? 01722 321833

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

KAP list a full competition exhaust inc fanimold for £625iirc. I've no idea if its stainless though or road legal.

There was an article in a mag i read a few months ago where they went to Janspeed and they knocked up a system from scratch for some retro car. They are quite open to one offs apparently, i would presume it all depends on the depth of your pockets! Exhaust technology isn't straightforward and the length of the primaries is critical especially on a n/a engine so it would need to be the right place of course.
There are plenty of custom places Primary designs, Hayward & Scott are 2 off the top of my head.

I would love a full system but will settle for a meatier note from a backbox or cat back. In all honesty unless its a racer where any breathing/performance gains mean anything the cost would far outweigh any gains. You could de-cat it or run a sports cat where there will be small gains but again it will almost certainly fail an mot and the latter is £££'s.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

I've seen the full system on the kap web site but they dont have any pics of it and I dont no anyone who has one fitted. I will also settle for a meatier note from a back box etc but not sure where or what to go for. I dont want it to sound too boy racery as I've been there an done that and I like my ears!!!

I think its fitted to the kap racer but other than that i've only seen pictures on difflock of the back box which is apparently quiet.

I don't want to have anything too loud either especially when its droning away at motorway speeds. I think its a case of forking out for a custom beastie until someone comes up with an off the shelf solution.

Exhausts seem to be hot (pun intended! )topic at the minute on here
