Please don't take this as a rude question, Rhys...but why do you want to remove it?
Has it fired, or are you doing away with it ?
Gus

Ok.....disconnect battery -ve, remove fuse #2 from fuse box #1
Allow 30 mins or so for any residual current to dissipate, then disconnect the yellow electrical connector (lock & slide type).
Disconnect module attachment bolts and remove, do not drop, and consider how you are going to either store it or dispose of it (NOT IN THE BIN :woohoo: )
Hope this helps,
Gus

Now I'm a bit confused, Rhys....I thought at first that you wanted to take out the whole thing so you could use the space for other stuff (maybe like extra switches, for example).....the airbag is contained within the confines of the whole panel, and bolted to the back is the detonating unit, which is about 70cms in diameter, less than 10mm deep with the electrical connection in the centre.
Basically, the whole thing you can see while sitting in front of it is the airbag module...easy enough to detach the banger from the rest of it and store safely, but what are you going to do with the big bit that's left?
If you refit it without the detonator you've gained no space at all.....am I missing the point, mate?

My 2021 jb74 passenger dashboard airbag deployed and i am looking to replace it. Located in The Bahamas. The dealer price is way too ridiculous. Do you know where i can purchase just the cover and not the full airbag kit?

On the new model Jimny the cover is part of the airbag. You will not find someone selling the cover separately.
But you can check out this instructional video , which I recommend for everyone who wants to delete airbags but keep their car looking as if the airbag is still installed.
