Electric window won't go up (but goes down) was created by spandit

Was driving my sister around the field today and we put the passenger window down. Once we'd finished, it wouldn't go up again. It would go all the way down and I've had to take the bl**dy door card off to access the wiring. By wiring a battery directly to the motor connector, I can drive it back up again but plugging the switch in only allows me to wind it back down again.

Is this likely to be a switch problem? Not sure where the 5 wires from the switch go - presumably to a relay somewhere (only 2 make it as far as the motor). The wiring diagram I have doesn't have the electric window motors on it...

Can you swap the switch from the drivers side to test weather it's a switch problem or something else?

I have a switch

Gold Jimny the best colour (sold)

Big red Jimny 32" tyres, arbs, cage 5:1 transfer etc. (Sold)

Same issue I had and I got a replacement switch from j999pre (James) works a treat now
