Jimny Hard Top to Soft Top conversion was created by nuno
Hi,
I own a 2002 Jimny with an Hard Top ... it's great for the winter and to make longer trips, but in the summer I would prefer to use a soft top to easily remove it an get some sun
I searched around and got some results in JimnyBits , Monsoon and 4x4x4 .
Do you know if these can be mounted in my Jimny?
Do you have any experience with theses stores?
I'm in Portugal, so I would like to avoid returns and problems.
Just another question .. I see some references to MK1 and MK2. What are the diferences?
Thanks

Hi nuno.
I take it you have the hard top convection fitted to your soft top jimny from new as in the photo
If its yes, you will need to get the MK1 soft top kit, this will have the fitting kit which you will need so you can attach the back section to your jimny.
If you have the hard top on the front, you will need to get a second-hand frame kit to fit the front and back soft tops.

Use JIMNYBITS , Russ the owner of jimnybits is a member on this forum, or monsoon.
Hope is helps you.

Hi,
My Jimny is an Hard Top from factory, so I don't think I can replace it with an Soft Top without the framework (told by Russ).
I notice 4x4x4 refers to a framework for 75:

Should the framework and the soft top all that I need to replace my hard top in the summer?
Thanks
