Went to the beach this morning was created by ZookFastback
Took the Jimny and Swordfish to the beach this morning. I am only about 8-10 mins from Port Philip Bay. Spent 2 hours on the Bay and then cam home via Arthurs Seat which is about 30 mins away. You can see nearly all of Port Philip from the top of Arthurs Seat. Being such a nice day, I went home via Cannonball Creek for some 4wd on dirt roads and then home.

Halfway up Arthurs Seat

Near the top of Arthurs Seat, look to the left to Rosebud, to the right Dromana

Cannonball Creek

All of this is within 30 mins drive of home...

It's a hard life but someone has to live it!

Just a quickie, does anyone know the size of the petrol pipes on an 2002 Jimny?

Also, has anyone used plastic.

Cheers lads and lasses!

Ignore the other post, it went crazy.

Edit, so''s this one!

Just had a look on eBay and there is plenty of plastic piping for fuel lines so it's possible. There is even clear piping, that would be cool :-D

My fuel lines will need doing soon I think so will be interested in this thread.

Supply pipe 5/16" = 8.0 mm
Return & vent 1/4" = 6.3mm

Brake pipes are 3/16, if you are changing the fuel pipes, the brake pipes will be shot too.

On mine the supply & return pipes were flexible plastic from the tank to the steel pipes, so I ended up leaving 15mm of steel pipe sticking out to join to, rather than drop the tank and discover that I couldn't connect at the fuel pump.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

I've deleted the other thread - it's a bit weird- I think those Aussies are just trying to tease me as they know I'm jealous of them and their land of beauty!
