If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Check the air filter as deedar suggests. (I bougt a 500 Honda once, when I rode it home it wouldn't go above 55, when I took the air filter out it was an old towel, a new filter fixed it.)
If the air filter is ok the next most likely problem is a blocked catalyst in the exhaust, replacement is the only cure.

id guess cat aswell, mine slowly lost power untill it wouldnt go above 15mph!!!had to abandon it by the side of the road
on mine the cat/silencer joined to the manifold had collapsed so check there to, if yours has one. mine now has no honey comb internals in that bit, sounds abit louder

The MAP sensor will usually cause rough idling, hesitation, and an increased fuel consumption.
At 200,000 km (which is only 125,000 miles: mine has done loads more than that and it still goes ) it is most likely a blocked/disintegrating catalyst.
By all means change the MAP sensor, you can do it without getting under the car, but I very much doubt it will solve the problem.
